When you’re a worldwide brand in a specialist industry, how can you make sure your name gets known in a new marketplace?

Häfele is a German company with 90 years’ worldwide experience in designing kitchens and household storage. They came to us with a mission: To increase brand recognition for every New Zealander in the country. Häfele produces a world-class product, it was up to us to get the word out.

What we did
for them

Brand strategy

We came up with a strategy to promote the Häfele brand to a wide range of people in a way that was still connected to the products. The sub brand “Fresh Cuts by Hafele” was created and we designed all the logos and collateral to bring the sub brand to life.

Communications

We set up a Facebook page, Fresh Cuts by Häfele, and managed it – publishing recipes from around the web. We picked recipes around a weekly theme, like cuisine from specific countries, baking, and drinks. Publishing up to eight posts a week we boosted one post per weekend, targeting New Zealanders.

Lead Generation

To grow visibility quickly, we ran a paid advertising campaign on Facebook, inviting further people to like the page.

The Results

In less than six months the Fresh Cuts by Häfele page received over 8000 likes from individual and genuine users, who are forming a community and sharing the recipes posted to the Fresh Cuts by Häfele page. The page is gaining around 300 new likes per week, at a cost of less than 70 cents per like.
